Nature
What happens when civilization becomes highly capable but forgets that all human activity exists within a living and limited planet?
Culturally expressive, economically organized, technologically advanced, medically sophisticated, and socially coordinated. It may become highly capable, intensely human-centered, and confident in its ability to redesign its surroundings.
Ecological understanding, interdependence, environmental limits, biodiversity, and responsibility toward living systems. Civilization loses the recognition that all human systems exist within a finite planet, and the remaining five cannot fully reproduce an ecological worldview.
Growth may be treated as indefinitely expandable, technology as a substitute for damaged ecosystems, and pollution only as a medical problem. Communities may detach from place, nature may be valued symbolically without protection, and convenience may override biodiversity and resilience.
