How can communities generate prosperity while preserving their culture and relationship with place?
Health + Innovation
Place-based cultural and community development. Examples include cultural tourism, local markets, public art, historic districts, community agriculture, parks, cultural festivals and conservation-based enterprise. This corresponds reasonably well to community development, cultural development and place-based economics.
Without Health and Innovation, development may preserve identity and place while failing to adapt, improve accessibility or protect long-term well-being.
