Who We Are

Life Heroes Inc is a Creative Ed-Tech non-profit. Our mission is to empower the next generation of heroes through creativity, relatable representation and early career exploration.

We’ve built “The Life Heroes Universe”, a dynamic and engaging fictional world. It’s designed to be both fun and educational, inspired by real-life heroes. Through this universe, we introduce kids to diverse careers that support our planet’s interconnected ecosystem, while teaching essential life skills and supporting their development as students.

What Is A Community Catalyst?

Someone who represents one of our Element or Evolution Heroes. They are passionate about networking and connecting with other heroes in their field. Their natural passion will be the driving force for cultivating a community of changemakers in their badge of focus.

What is the Life Heroes badge system?

The Life Heroes badges are designed to categorize all careers in life and empower children to explore diverse areas of interest. It is a combination of ESL (Emotional Social Learning) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).

Element Badges: Art - Business - Health - Social - Nature - Living

The 6 Element Badges symbolize the essential elements of life. These six categories help define the features of society and each element contributes to our society's intricate system.

What We Can Achieve Together?

You will lead the charge in building a community of heroes. Representation is everything and every kid deserves a chance to see themselves in someone successful. You will have a direct impact on building a community of role models and contributing to an enormous part of our mission: building a community where everyone is uplifted, supported and empowered to be the best version of themselves.

You will help kickstart the conversation with leaders, building strong connections and pioneering strategic partnerships with organizations bold enough to set out and change the world.

The Community Catalyst is a key member of the Life Heroes community and works primarily to:

• Help directly contribute to our community of role models for the next generation of heroes
• Be a connecter to grow the Life Heroes changemaker community
• Take charge in building relationships you believe will benefit our mission
• Explore partnerships with organizations you believe will help us make a bigger impact
• Have a direct impact on building our Life Heroes database so kids everywhere can find relatable representation anywhere

We’re Looking For:

• Enthusiasm and excitement
• Strong awareness of relationship building
• A passion for the badge they represent
• A strong ability to cultivate relationships
• A keen sense for forming impactful organizational partnerships

Expectations

• Attend group monthly meetings
• Engage with at least 30 possible "Career Heroes" on a monthly basis

Salary Information

Life Heroes is a non-profit, being a Community Catalyst is a volunteer position. However we believe in valuing those who contribute to expanding our impact. Dependent on grants, donations and fundraising there is an opportunity to get paid or transition the role into part time or full time.
